UK country and Americana artist Devan is set to release his debut single, “Wyatt Earp,” on Friday 3rd April 2026. The track marks the official beginning of his recording career and introduces a new artist whose music is rooted in personal history, storytelling and a strong sense of identity. Coming from March in Cambridgeshire, Devan brings his background as a proud “Fen boy” into the heart of his sound.

What makes the release especially notable is that “Wyatt Earp” is Devan’s first experience of both songwriting and recording. Despite having always loved music and singing, he had never previously taken the step into creating his own material. That makes this debut a significant milestone, representing a move from private passion to public artistry.

Devan’s early steps into music are already attracting attention. “Wyatt Earp” has received radio support, including a feature on CountryLine Homegrown with Tim Prottey-Jones. For Devan, hearing the song played on air with his family around him was a major personal moment and one he described as a full circle experience.

Away from music, Devan works as a carpenter and is also involved with Sovereign Quarter Horses in Cambridgeshire. He has performed at their Rockin’ the Country festival and plans to host his EP launch there later this year. With more music to come and a debut EP on the horizon, “Wyatt Earp” serves as the first chapter in what looks to be a promising journey in UK country and Americana.
