Nova Scotia rock trio The Boojums are set to release their highly anticipated self-titled debut album on 31 October 2025 via Having Fun Records, an imprint of Toronto’s We Are Busy Bodies. The first single, “Wings of Fire”, dropped on 21 August, delivering a mix of garage grit, power-pop hooks, and vintage arena-rock swagger.

Rising Canadian Rock Sensations
Formed in late 2024, The Boojums have already captured attention through grainy VHS-style live performances uploaded to Reddit, Instagram, and YouTube. Their raw, unfiltered energy quickly earned them a growing fan base, standing out for their nostalgic yet forward-looking sound.
Recorded live off the floor, The Boojums captures themes of small-town escape, freedom, and personal reckoning. According to frontman Willie Stratton, “Wings of Fire is about chasing something bigger before it disappears in the rearview… gold on your engine, nothing but dreams in the tank, and someone you love in the passenger seat.”
About the Album
With snarling guitars, wailing vocals, and thunderous rhythms, The Boojums channel the spirit of ‘60s garage rock, ‘70s punk, ‘80s alternative, and ‘90s power-pop into something undeniably fresh. Their debut LP is a stripped-down, emotionally charged ride through heartbreak, growth, and small-town life.
